Meet the Mayor of Houghton Regis
The Annual Meeting of Houghton Regis Town Council was held on Wednesday 20th May 2026.
I am pleased to announce that the Members elected Cllr David Jones as Mayor and Cllr Elaine Cooper as Deputy Mayor. The Council congratulates Cllr Jones and Cllr Cooper on their appointments and wishes them both a successful year.
The Mayor has chosen to support Hospice at Home Volunteers, Keech Hospice and the Motor Neurone Disease Association as his nominated charities for the Mayoral year.
Details of Civic and fundraising events for the coming Mayoral year will be circulated in due course.
