The recreation ground is also home to a NEW 3G all-weather football pitch and changing pavilion, providing a high-quality, year-round facility for local football.

The 3G pitch is managed by Bedfordshire Football Association (Bedfordshire FA). The facility provides opportunities for local clubs, teams and community groups to train and play throughout the year.
