Help Us Choose the New Name for Our Community Venue currently referred to as Project H

We are pleased to launch a public consultation on the new name for our multi‑use community venue — a space designed to bring people together, support young people, and provide a home for Town Council meetings.

Over the past few months, we’ve gathered ideas and themes, and from this, we’ve created a shortlist of names that reflect the venue’s purpose, energy, and future.

Shortlisted Names

  • The Arc: A modern, energetic name suggesting movement, connection, and a welcoming curve into the community.
  • HR Link One: A name that emphasises connection, partnership, and being the “first point” for community activity.
  • HR Hive: A lively, community‑centred name inspired by collaboration, activity, and shared purpose.
  • HR Connect: A warm, inclusive name focused on bringing people together across ages and interests.
  • Other Residents may propose alternative names.  Suitable suggestions should be: • welcoming and inclusive for all ages • appropriate for youth activities and formal council meetings • easy to pronounce and remember • neutral (not tied to a specific group or individual) • positive and future‑focused

Why Your Input Matters

This venue will serve as a community hub, a youth space, and a civic meeting place.  Its name should reflect its purpose, values, and the identity of the people who use it.  Your feedback will help ensure the chosen name feels right for everyone.

Have Your Say

We invite all residents to take part in the consultation and share their views.  Your voice will help shape the future identity of this important community space.
